Ok,

   My love for all things bridal started when I was 17 when I delved into the world of wedding dresses for a piece of coursework, looking at the styles and designs through the ages. After sparking this new love, I went to work for a local bridal shop and never really looked back.

 

    I opened a small Posy & Pearl shop in Cirencester in June 2014 which I stocked all my handcrafted bridal pieces and jewellery. Unfortunately somebody loved my pieces so much they decided to break in resulting in every piece being stolen, which was heart breaking.

A huge learning curve to say the least!

   After this massive set back I re-evaluated where I was heading, I went back to my first love, and back to working with the beautiful wedding dresses whilst still designing and making the accessories which obviously worked well together. As well as holding children's jewellery making parties and adult jewellery making courses which were always a lot of fun.

   I had the opportunity to work alongside an American bridal designer, as their dresser for the models at the harrogate bridal show, and resulting in my Head pieces being used for one of their photoshoots, which spurred me to build a new collection for Posy & Pearl, which I took to Harrogate in September 2019 as a designer in my own right, resulting in now having retailers stocking my head pieces all over the uk, Ireland and Germany.

   So I decided (after many years of dreaming that one day I will own my own bridal boutique), to go for it! A flag ship store for my own bespoke pieces but with the love and joy I have for helping a bride find her dream dress, All under one roof! With 20 years experience of working with the dresses whilst running my own business "The Posy & Pearl Bridal Boutique' was born!!

    I had planned to open on the 4th April 2020, but due to the coved -19 epidemic, it was pushed back slightly to the 15th June 2020.

​

    Now up and running and totally raring to go,(whilst adhering to government guidelines) looking forward to making many brides dreams come true from head to toe!
